Today we start another season of trade fairs for the spring/summer season. This year's itinerary is a little shorter, with us only attending two fairs - in Paris and New York with Playtime.
As usual, we've come to tell you a little about our experience at these events, which are important for our development and growth as a brand. What's more, trade fairs are a great opportunity to get in touch with the people we work with, to meet new faces and even to bring new inspiration to the next collections and to aspects of Wedoble in general.
In today's post, we're going to PlayTime in Paris. Back to a place where we are always well received and have very good memories. The French capital is always dynamic, so there's nothing better than starting there to present our spring/summer 2026 collection - My favourite.
Playtime took place in Paris on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June. It's been an intense three days, full of conversations, exchanges of ideas and presentations of the new things we're bringing. As a result, we received the first opinions and different reactions from those who passed by our stand.
As always, we wanted to know how these days at the fair went, so we asked our team to tell us how it went, what their expectations were for this edition and to explain a little about the collection we brought to this season of international fairs.
Wedoble's participation in the summer edition of Playtime Paris went very well. We had the opportunity to present the new Spring/Summer 2025 collection - MY FAVOURITE - which was very well received by the public. The new releases were widely praised and the comments received proved to be extremely valuable. These inputs will undoubtedly be taken into consideration in the brand's next developments.
In the collection we're presenting in this edition, we've brought a lot of colour and some patterns referring to warmer times. Fabrics with floral and nature patterns are dominant. As we've already mentioned, we have a wide variety of colours, from the usual shades to some that are more specific to the collection. The more specific colours of the collection will be evident both in the fabric of each item and in the pattern of each fabric. Some models are already familiar, but we're bringing in other models that we believe give the collection a new meaning.
This edition of the fair also stood out for its strong international dynamics. We had the privilege of welcoming visitors from markets so diverse as the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the United Arab Emirates. This growing demand and interest from different geographies reinforces Wedoble's global presence and motivates us to continue working with a focus on expanding and adapting to new markets.
We're grateful for the welcome and the exchanges throughout the fair, which confirm that we're on the right track. Playtime Paris continues to be a strategic and inspiring meeting point for Wedoble, and we are already excited about what the future holds.
Another edition of Playtime in Paris and it's always a good idea. We take away a positive balance sheet, new ideas and we're ready for the next fair. We thank Playtime for once again giving us a good time and for allowing us to come back full of ideas to put into practice.
Next stop: New York, United States of America.
