The Changes We Feel - Part 1

The Changes We Feel - Part 1

Today's post is going to touch on a subject that we consider to be sensitive and that we should have all due respect for. We're talking about women's bodies, especially the transformations they go through during pregnancy.

Something we want to emphasise is our total respect for a woman's body, for being able to generate life and for every second that passes during the baby's growth and development. It's unique and truly special to realise that you have the possibility of creating life. Furthermore, approaching these more sensitive topics requires care, but we believe it should be talked about because it's something natural. It's natural, each woman has her own pregnancy journey, which becomes something unique and beautiful in its own way.

The subject of the evolution of a mum-to-be's body is something that is being talked about more and more, but not always with the best care. This topic encompasses a whole range of physical and, above all, psychological factors that make this journey towards motherhood a real adventure and challenge.

One idea we want to clarify is that motherhood has its own particular aspects, it's something that each mother feels, experiences and knows. Someone's inappropriate opinion can be a disturber in such a delicate phase for women. In today's topic, we want to start here on the blog in a relaxed way. As you know, we always do our research so that we can keep a close eye on what's going on and understand it a little better.

In general, we want to know about the main changes that can occur during pregnancy. Well, from what we can gather, there are quite a few. As such, we thought it would be interesting to split this topic into two parts - today we present the first part.

We can start with the feeling that these transformations can give the mum-to-be. Over the months, the belly grows, the breasts become bigger, the skin begins to change, among other things. The beginning, middle and end of this journey is a real adventure and a constant learning experience. We know that it's something that can influence the mum's way of being, because we're talking about some changes to her body and appearance. However, talking about this topic allows it to be taken more calmly.

The body is constantly evolving because it has to adapt, accommodate the little one and prepare its body for labour. To give you an idea, the weight of the uterus can increase around thirty times.

The first change we want to highlight is breast enlargement. From what we can tell, this is often one of the first symptoms of pregnancy and is noticed by women even before they know they're pregnant. It's completely natural, as the body finishes the fertilisation phase and begins the next phase - breastfeeding. The breasts will enlarge during the nine months. To do this, you need to take care to constantly moisturise your breasts, using cream or oils such as almond oil. The nipples will mature and become larger and more pronounced due to the influence of hormones.

This is just one of the different changes a woman can experience, in this case at an early stage and throughout the nine months.

So we'll leave this first part a little more briefly, mentioning our purpose in including this topic on our blog, the importance of addressing its components and, above all, allowing for a calm and completely open conversation on this topic, which is so natural and necessary.

We'll soon be bringing you other changes that mums-to-be experience in a second part about the evolution of the body during pregnancy.

What about you? Of the changes we've discussed today, is it something you've noticed? How was the process of understanding these changes? How did you feel? We want to know your experience. We want to know your opinion
