Today we bring you our experience of the second fair of 2024. We were in the French capital for the PlayTime fair, which took place on 27, 28 and 29 January.
The days of the Paris fair are always on our calendar. Like the fair in Italy, PlayTime's fair is an essential stop and we always bring back good memories. It's a dynamic, irreverent fair with a good atmosphere, we see faces we already know and welcome new people who want to get to know our brand better.
Constant contact with people allows us to understand what they think of the collection, what kind of items we present that they like best, to take note of any details they share with us and to save new ideas that may come up between the many conversations we have, being able to bring these ideas to light and thus evolve and be aware of what people appreciate and what meets the essence of Wedoble.
In addition, it's always exciting to see how people will react to the new things we bring. Our new autumn/winter 2024 collection Love in Winter Days brings with it the warm yarns of merino wool and cashmere and the warm colours appropriate for this season. Once again, we can't forget our main inspiration, nature, which continues to dominate the new models we present.
We wanted to understand what the event was like and asked our Brand Manager to describe the three days at the Paris fair. She told us that Wedoble's presence at Playtime is always an highly anticipated event, not only because we're talking about one of the most important fairs in the sector, but also because of the target audience it covers. We expected Playtime to maintain the turnout of previous years, boosting awareness and sales for the participating brands. In our particular case, it turned out to be very positive as we met several clients and agents, as well as making important contacts in the USA, France, Italy and Spain.
So we're back to work with good memories and a positive assessment of these fairs, and we're taking back with us lots of ideas that we're sure we'll put into practice in the next collections.
