Trade fairs with Wedoble


Today, we bring you our experience at the PlayTime fair in Paris, which took place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July.



The Paris fair is always a great experience. Like the Italian fair, the PlayTime fair is a mandatory stop and we always bring back good memories. It's a dynamic, irreverent fair with a good atmosphere, we see faces we already know and we welcome new people who want to get to know our brand better.



The constant contact with people allows us to understand their opinion about the collection, what kind of items we present that they like the most, to take note of some detail that they share with us and to save new ideas that may arise between the various conversations we have, being able to bring these ideas to light and, with that, to be able to evolve and be aware of what people appreciate and that goes along with what is the essence of Wedoble.



In addition, it is always exciting to see how people will react to the new things we bring - the colours associated with summer and warm weather, new patterns that remind us of sunny days and the new items we venture to produce. We like to be aware of every moment, and this is essential for us to develop and evolve.









Both at the Florence fair and now at the Paris fair, we are bringing new products. Our swimwear line and the whole set associated with our maternity bag. We had positive feedback and people loved it! It's great to realise that we are continuing to do a positive job, depending on what we hear people say about what they want to see in our brand and, above all, we want to reinvent ourselves. Never leaving our brand image - knitwear - but being able to adapt and bring new product lines that make perfect sense to create.



So, we wanted to understand how this event was and we asked our Brand Manager to describe these three days at the Paris fair. She told us that Wedoble's presence at Playtime was a highly anticipated event, not only because we were talking about one of the most important fairs in the sector, but also because of the target audience it covers. In addition, Playtime, due to the more irreverent nature of the participating brands, was not a traditionally positive fair for Wedoble and this fact has changed in recent editions, which makes us very happy. We expected Playtime to maintain the turnout of previous years, boosting the awareness and sales of the participating brands, but this did not happen: the number of visitors was lower than in previous editions and this was noticed.In our particular case, it turned out to be very positive with the realisation of long-awaited contacts in the USA and new customers in several markets.



This way, we bring back good memories of this fair and we can't wait to put some ideas that came up during these days into future collections.



We think it is important to share these moments with you, because fairs are part of our development and work.
